• Markel Group (MKL US): Promoted Mike Heaton, President of Markel Ventures, to COO.

• MarketAxess (MKTX US): Named former State Street executive Fiszel Bieler as CFO.

• Secure Energy Services (SES CA): Said its President, Allen Gransch, would take over as CEO.
